Simple analytical algorithm for constructing the envelope of the projectile trajectories in midair
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN PHYSICS - Year 2016, Vol 11, Issue 5
Abstract
A classic problem of the motion of a projectile thrown at an angle to the horizon is studied. The air drag force is taken into account asthe quadratic resistance law.An analytic approach is used for the investigation. Simple analytical formulae are used for constructing the envelope of the family of the projectile trajectories. The equation of envelope is applied for the determination of the maximum range of flight. The motion of a baseball is presented as an example.

Rapidity Distribution of Charged Pions From Pb+Pb and Au+Au Central Collisions
Rapidity distributions for charged pions produced from central collisions Pb+Pb and Au+Au at (b ≤ 3.4 fm.) in range of energy 2 GeV up to = 200 GeV are investigated. The experimental results are studied in terms...
PHYSICAL AND OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF THE FILMS ?i2Te3-Bi2Se3
Results of researches show, that film p-n the structures received by a method of discrete thermal evaporation in a uniform work cycle, are suitable for use in low-voltage devices. As a result of work are received p...
Slow seepage of polar fluids through porous media
A study of slow seepage of polar fluids through porous media is made using smoothed continuity equation and Darcy equation in a porous medium. A transformation and approximate solution of the governing equations was carr...
Rosen-Chambers Variation Theory of Linearly-Damped Classic and Quantum Oscillator
Phenomena of damped harmonic oscillator is important in the description of the elementary dissipative processes of linear responses in our physical world. Its classical description is clear and understood, however it is...
Characterization of Carbon nanotubes Near- Infrared Photoconductive Detector
Carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs,F-MWCNTs,SWCNTs) with different structure were fabricated into near-infrared photodetectors. Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) was used as a substrate to deposit CNTs by the drop casting method. The CNTs ca...
