Simulation and Analysis of Optimum Golomb Ruler Based 2D Codes for OCDMA System
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2016, Vol 7, Issue 7
Abstract
The need for high speed communications networks has led the research communities and industry to develop reliable, scalable transatlantic and transpacific fiber-optic communication links. In this paper the optimum Golomb ruler based 2D OCDMA codes has been demonstrated. An OCDMA system based on the discussed 2D codes is designed and simulated on Optisystem. The encoder and decoder structure of OCDMA system have been designed using filter and time delays. Further the performance is analysed for various parameter such as bit rate, number of users, BER (Bit Error Rate), quality factor, eye diagram and signal diagram. The system is analyzed for up to 18 users at 1 Gbps and 1.25 Gbps bit rate.

Optimal Design of a Variable Coefficient Fractional Order PID Controller by using Heuristic Optimization Algorithms
This paper deals with an optimal design of a new type Variable coefficient Fractional Order PID (V-FOPID) controller by using heuristic optimization algorithms. Although many studies have mainly paid attention to correct...
A Survey of Schema Matching Research using Database Schemas and Instances
Schema matching is considered as one of the essential phases of data integration in database systems. The main aim of the schema matching process is to identify the correlation between schema which helps later in the dat...
Case Based Reasoning: Case Representation Methodologies
Case Based Reasoning (CBR) is an important technique in artificial intelligence, which has been applied to various kinds of problems in a wide range of domains. Selecting case representation formalism is critical for the...
Network Attack Classification and Recognition Using HMM and Improved Evidence Theory
In this paper, a decision model of fusion classification based on HMM-DS is proposed, and the training and recognition methods of the model are given. As the pure HMM classifier can’t have an ideal balance between each m...
Detecting Inter-Component Vulnerabilities in Event-based Systems
Event-based system (EBS) has become popular because of its high flexibility, scalability, and adaptability. These advantages are enabled by its communication mechanism—implicit invocation and implicit concurrency between...
