Simulation and Modelling of Climate Change Effects on River Awara Flow Discharge using WEAP Model
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2017, Vol 24, Issue 1
Abstract
Modelling of stream flow and discharge of river Awara under changed climate conditions using CLIMGEN for stochastic weather generation and WEAP model was used to simulate reserviour storage volume, wa-ter demand and river discharges at high spatial resolution (0.5°×0.5°, total 66,420 grid cells). Results of CLM-Based flow measurement shows a linear regression with R2 = 0.99 for IFPRI-MNP- IGSM_WRS calibra-tion. Sensitivity simulation of ambient long-term shows an increase in temperature with 0.5oc thus the results of the studies generally show that annual runoff and river discharges could largely decrease. The pro-jection of water demand 150 million m3 by 2020 against the reservoir storage volume 60 million m3 and decrease in rainfall depth by -5.7 mm. The output of the combined models used in this study is veritable to create robust water management system under different climate change scenarios.

Assessing the Level of Electromagnetic Pollution through Statistical-probabilistic Methods and Fuzzy Logic
This paper is dedicated to the analysis of the possibilities of assessing the level of electromagnetic pollution in the public spaces and the lucrative areas on the application of some statistical and probabilistic metho...
Attempts for a Better Understanding of Entropy by the Students in CMU
Regarding thermodynamics, the perception of students is that unlike the first law, the second law has not simple statements. Despite of this, the first two laws are related to each other and their combination shows the i...
Some Aspects Regarding the Use of Digital Signal Controllers in Electrical Drivers for Stepper Motors
In the first part of this paper are presented and compared two practical implementation of unipolar stepper drives for didactical destination, one with 8 bit microcontroller and one with 16 bits digital signal controller...
Control System for Producing Electricity with Dual Stator Winding Cage-Rotor Induction Generator
This paper will present the key design equations and control design model of the Dual Stator Winding Cage-Rotor Induction Generator (DSWIG) to achieve wide-speed-range operation with reduced capacity of the static power...
Current Control of the Single-Phase Full-BridgePower Inverter
This paper shows the Matlab/Simulink implementation of the current control in a single phase full-bridge power inverter. In order to increase the performances of the power inverter an LC filter is connected at the input....
