Simulation and Performance Analysis of FWM Wavelength Converter
Journal Title: International Journal of Science and Research (IJSR) - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
"Optical Wavelength Conversion is a necessary function for Optical-Time-Division Multiplexing/ Wavelength-Division-Multiplexing (OTDM/WDM) networks. These Wavelength Converters can be realized by using fibre non-linearities, Semiconductor Optical Amplifier (SOA) non-linearities etc. A FWM (Four Wave Mixing) Wavelength Converter using different types of fibers is analyzed here. The power of the converted signals for different fiber lengths and relation between pump and probe power are evaluated. The Wavelength Converter is simulated using a commercial optical system simulator named OptiSystem 12.0 by Optiwave. "
Review of Multi-objective Evolutionary Algorithm
Datamining is an analytic process designed to explore data in search of consistent patterns and/or systematic relationships between variables, and then to validate the findings by applying the detected patterns to new su...
A Qos Oriented Cognitive Radio based VHOM Scheme for WIMAX/WIFI Overlay Networks
The integration of WIMAX and WiFi has been a promising approach toward 4G. As a result of this integration I, realize totally different vital problems for the interworking of WIMAX and WiFi networks. Thus I planned a tig...
On the Evaluation of the Fifth Degree Elliptic Singular Moduli
We find in a closed-algebraic radicals form the value of the fifth degree singular moduli at r in any order, knowing only two consecutive values i.e. the values at r and r/25.
Extraction of Green Energy in R & AC System
The paper presents trends on recent development of possible substitutes for ecological refrigerants from HVAC&R equipment based on thermodynamic, physical and environmental properties and TEWI (Total Equivalent Warming I...
