Simulation Study for Some Estimators of Exponential Distribution
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGY - Year 2014, Vol 10, Issue 2
Abstract
In this study we have some estimators for exponential distribution in simulation study. These estimators were classical estimator like maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) and robust estimators that is called MAD/MED robust estimator. These methods are used to estimate the parameter of exponential distribution . We applied the simulation in MATLAB and then compared the results that we have them. The results of the study proved that the method of MAD/MED robust is better than the classical method MSE in the event that the data regular (without pollution) or contaminated.

Effect of Hall current on Unsteady Flow of a Dusty Conducting Fluid through porous medium between Parallel Porous Plates with Temperature Dependent Viscosity and Thermal Radiation
The purpose of present problem is to studies of effects of variable viscosity, hall current on unsteady laminar flow of dusty conducting fluid between parallel porous plates through porous medium with temperature...
Some Results on Super Harmonic Mean Graphs
Let G be a graph with p vertices and q edges. Let f: V(G) → {1, 2, …, p + q} be a injective function. For a vertex labeling f, the induced edge labeling f∗(e = uv) is defined by f∗(e) = ⌈(2f(u)f(v))/(f(u)+ f(v))⌉ or ⌊(2f...
Cech Soft Closure Spaces
The purpose of the present paper is to dene and study the Cech soft closure spaces on the soft sets over the non-empty set X and discuss some of its properties.
Detour Distant Divisor Graphs
Let G = (V,E) be a (p, q) - graph. The longest path P is called a detour distant divisor path if l(P) is a divisor of q . A detour distant divisor graph DD(G) of graph G = (V,E) has the vertex set V = V (G) and two verti...
On the exponential Diophantine equation
The exponential Diophantine equation in four variables given by is considered and analyzed for finding its non-zero integer solutions for different choices of m and n. A few numerical illustrations are present...
