Baseada na sua experiência a autora faz uma reflexão sobre a prática psiquiátrica no Serviço de Urgência do Hospital Geral. Este é um trabalho que deve ser fortemente articulado com outras áreas de especialidade, em que partilha e discussão clínica do doente com situações de comorbilidade é fundamental para a prestação de cuidados de qualidade. São por fim nomeadas diversas situações clínicas frequentes no Hospital geral e sugeridas condutas de boa prática.
