Abstract
In the article one presented the growth during corrosive defects on beams of bearing steel-stairs, which are found in the construction of the footbridge over railway tracks. One assumed that the construction corroded in the urban atmosphere and, for comparison, in the sea-atmosphere and in the atmosphere on the rural area. One considered the case of the superficial global corrosion. Speeds of the corrosion, adopted to calculations, one laded from the literature. The work has a theoretical character. Considered corrosive defects can be found on built footbridges for pedestrian of located over railway tracks or over other obstacles. This problem was illustrated in the way of calculations. One carried out calculations of loss of the capacity of the beam and the increase of her deflections. The bearing beam of stairs is I-section IPBS 360 steel the species S355. The corrosion surrenders the upper shelf of this I-section. One assumed that the loss of her thickness was situated within the range from the zero to 30%. Authors discussed obtained results of the destruction of this beam in the long of corroding.
