slugAnalysis and Comparison of Spatial Domain Digital Image Inpainting Techniques
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2014, Vol 2, Issue 7
Abstract
Digital Image Inpainting is an interesting research topic in image processing. Digital Image Inpainting uses spatial or frequency information to restore partially damaged images and paintings. Digital Image Inpainting Algorithms aim at filling the missing or broken regions of an image so that it appears continuous and natural for not so familiar user. This paper compares the inpainted images obtained by Olivera’s, modified Olivera’s, median filtering, and directional median filtering, convolution using Noori et al’s method and bilateral inpainting for an image with 10 pixel broad damage. A large number of experiments show that the two algorithms can efficiently restore the structure and texture information. Results are compared based on the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and are better than the other algorithms.

Implementation of an Efficient Way of Broadcasting Response Message to Help Demanding Vehicle in VANET
VANET is very demanding area of research in these days. In this paper, we identify that when an emergency condition occurred at any location on the road, then emergency support take time to reach emergency location due...
Comparative Study on Skin Cancer Using the Approach of Data Mining
This paper deals with skin cancer and its factors. The skin cancer is a new formation of cancer speared in all around the Earth. It developed by sunrays affected by human body. In the resent years medical data evaluated...
Synthesis of Furfural from Corn Cobs by Using Membrane Technology
Today all major companies used furfural as a selective solvent in refining of lubricating oil. Furfural is produced from agricultural waste biomass that contain pentosans, which are aldose sugars, composed of small ring...
A novel adaptive routing algorithm for Wireless adhoc network
Wireless AD-HOC Network is the most frequently used network these days. The traditional routing involves a fixed path for the routing process. It consists of a centralized system. The packets are forwarded from the sour...
