Journal Title: Journal of Animal Behaviour and Biometeorology - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 3

Abstract

The objective of this review to assess the feeding behavior of cattle in Brachiaria decumbens pasture and Cynodon spp. The cattle is concentrated today as one of the main activities of the Brazilian. Therefore, it is essential to know the eating habits of these animals. The pasture quality has a direct influence on the feeding behavior of the same. Therefore provide a good pasture is one of the first steps to have a profitable activity. Livestock production (meat and / or milk) is directly related to consumption, where the sweet feed has a direct influence on this variable. So we need to provide pasture quality animals, with shading in order to avoid stress caused by heat, so that they have an adequate intake and consequently a satisfactory production.
