Smoking Habits among the Indian Youth: A Case Study

Abstract
Youth comprises the majority of Indian population. More than any other country, India has the largest youth population in the world. But, unfortunately Indian youth are largely addicted to drugs and tobacco. Consuming these types of hazardous things destroys a man’s consciousness and intellectual power. If the youth is getting ruined by drugs and tobacco usage, then the stability of a society would become a question mark. India is lacking the actual benefit of human resource, even if it is the second-largest populated country in the world. So, we have to deal with this problem with a great concern. In this paper, the author discusses the causes of vulnerability of Indian youth to tobacco and tries to suggest some remedies to prevent it.
