SOCIAL PEDAGOGY, SOCIAL POLICY AND THE SYSTEM OF CARE AND SOCIAL ASSISTANCE – HOW TO KEEP HUMAN DIGNITY AT THE CENTER OF THE DISCUSSION?
Journal Title: Acta Missiologica - Year 2018, Vol 12, Issue 1
Abstract
This article aims to show the differences and similarities between social pedagogy, social policy and the system of care and social assistance. Its main message is to indicate the need for cooperation between these sciences in practice and reform of the system of operations organized in this area. Similar investigations are important due to the changing face of sociological sciences and their application in real activities in the political arena. Strong and organized social assistance should be extended not only to people who obviously do not deal with their situation, but in the face of such phenomena as globalization, consumerism and new technologies – we face the need for global assistance of all individuals on various (often neglected) areas of life.
