SOCIAL STATUS AND PROFESSIONAL SUBCULTURE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SPECIALISTS IN THE MODERN RUSSIAN SOCIETY: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

Abstract

The article discusses the social status and main elements of the professional subculture of Russian engineering and technical specialists in the context of domestic and foreign concepts and on the basis of empirical data reflecting the assessment of the attractiveness of the engineering profession in modern Russian society. Particular attention is paid to the creative aspect of the activities of engineering and technical specialists, their role in the innovative development of society.
