СОЦІАЛЬНІ МОДЕЛІ ЩОДО ОСІБ З ОБМЕЖЕНИМИ ФІЗИЧНИМИ МОЖЛИВОСТЯМИ: ПИТАННЯ РОЗУМІННЯ ВПЛИВУ НА ПРАВОВЕ РЕГУЛЮВАННЯ СУСПІЛЬНИХ ВІДНОСИН

Abstract
This article explains the availability of social models and their impact on the definition of disability. The article examines all models of disability (schemes of relationships in society), which were formed in the process of development of European civilization. Three paradigms of disability models are analyzed. In addition, the periodization of the development of the national legislation of Ukraine, which regulates the labor and social security of persons with disabilities, has been followed, and three periods of influence of this or that disability model have been identified. The article also finds that the model of disability is one of the prevailing factors that determine the content of legislation on persons with disabilities. In addition, the author suggests using in the terminology of the legislation on persons with disabilities a mixed paradigm approach which allows taking into account the social nature of the abovementioned persons, rather than exacerbating the view only on the biological-specific basis, since the relation between social and biological in disability is possible only from the position of their unity in society and legislation.
