СОЦІАЛЬНО-ПСИХОЛОГІЧНА АДАПТАЦІЯ ДІТЕЙ МОЛОДШОГО ШКІЛЬНОГО ВІКУ ЗАСОБАМИ ІГОР У ВОДІ

Abstract
An urgent problem is the social adaptation of elementary school children to interactions in the team. Children’s communication, mediated by gadgets in the virtual world, is becoming more widespread and contributs to difficulties in the real interaction process. Objective: To study the dynamics of social-psychological adaptation of elementary school children using of the game method in learn to swim groups, as one of the means of social adaptation. Materials and methods: participants were 9 years old children training at sports gymnasts (from children and youth sport school “FENIX-Spartak”) who trained at the children’s health and sports camp. There were control (n = 13) and experimental (n = 13) groups. Duration of study was 21 days. Water classes were held every day for 45 minutes. There was method of sociometry (study of interpersonal relationships in a group after Moreno J-L) used in the study. The main means of the experimental group children’s influence was the usage of games in water, which required different interaction between children. Accordingly, the control group used games that provided for a predominantly individual form of task organization. Results: The sociometric status indicator, which reflects the level of socio-psychological adaptation in the experimental group in comparison with the control group, improved statistically significant at the end of the study from 31.3 ± 12.8% (Mh ± σ) for the start of the study to 51.4 ± 14,6% (Mx ± σ) for its completion (t = 3,73; p ≤ 0,01)). There were no statistically significant changes found for this indicator in the control group. The sociometric status analysis showed that experimental group children’s level of socio-psychological adaptation has improved significantly as a result of the game method usage at the stage of initial swimming training. Conclusions: water games and specially created socio-pedagogical situations leads improvements in the social adaptation of children in the team. The more games that motivate for interactions, the better and easier the process of adapting children to social interaction in the team. It is shown that as a result of specially organized interaction in the group, the number of mutual choices increases, that is, relations between children become more diverse, and the structure of the collective improved.
