Abstract
The problems of the construction of a number of mini-hydroelectric power stations on the mountain rivers of the Carpathians are explored due to their influence on aboriginal, typical ichthyofauna, water ecosystem and traditional rational nature management. The possibilities of development of the Carpathian region as a tourist object under conditions of development of mountain rivers by mini-HESs are explored.
