SOCIO-LEGAL CONDITIONS FOR THE ADAPTATION OF TURKISH MIGRANTS IN FRY (1960-1980 BIENNIUM)

Abstract
In the article the peculiarities of Turkish migrants’ adaptation in German society during the 1960– 1980s is highlighted. The main documents of the Federal government aimed at ensuring the integration of foreigners are analyzed. It is noted that Germany considered the Turkish labor migration as a temporary phenomenon, thus the creation of special integration programs for foreigners and improvement of relations between the Muslim migrants and the host society was not provided. From the early 1980-ies the Turkish migration turned from resolving the labor shortage issue to a problem of coexistence of the Muslim Diaspora and indigenous people within German society.
