Sociological approaches to study types of political culture

Abstract
Article dwells upon the substantial characteristics of the existing sociological approaches to the studyof types of political culture. Attention is drawn to the fact, that political culture is understood as anaggregate of sustainable forms of political consciousness and behavior, which determines functioningpeculiarities of different actors in the political process within the boundaries of a particular politicalsystem. Author notes the importance of building typology based on the selection and subsequentcombination of integration and activation function of political culture among modern approaches tothe study of political culture types in the domestic sociology.
