Soft Power and the international projection of the Cuban Revolution: the charism revolutionary of Social Diplomacy

Abstract

This paper analyzes the international projection of the Cuban Revolution, discussing the contours of your soft power that contributed to its international reintegration. To this end, after presenting a brief discussion of this concept, and transformations of the international contemporary analyzes the change of use of soft power in the revolutionary process in Cuba. In this sense, points out that such power was in the golden years of the Revolution (60 and 70), based on the revolutionary aura and charisma of their leaders (Fidel Castro and Che Guevara, among others) and in the first decade of this century, acquired new contours supported the emergence of social Diplomacy, based on cooperation based on social services (health, education and sports, among others), contributing to the establishment of diplomatic ties and the development of a positive image of the country.
