Solution of the Linear and Non- Linear Schrodinger Equation Using Homotopy Perturbation Method and Variational Iteration Method

Journal Title: American journal of Engineering Research - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 3

Abstract

This paper applies, homotopy perturbation method (HPM) and Variational Iteration Method (VIM) are employed to solve the linear and nonlinear Schrodinger equations. To illustrate the capability and reliability of the methods, some examples are provided. The results obtained using homotopy perturbation method (HPM) are compared with result Variational Iteration Method (VIM ).
