Abstract

The changes in the regulatory assessment of the cost of Ukrainian industrial enterprises production for along-term period in accounting and tax accounting have been analysed. Recommendations as for improving the scientific and methodological approach to assessing the cost of industrial and engineering products in terms of determining amortization charges are substantiated. The author proves the necessity of excluding the "method of reducing the residual value" both from the Accounting Standard and the Tax Code, and introducing the method of the same name, but in IFRS (IAS) 16 interpretation, which is completely different. It will not only replace the "rapid method for reducing the residual value", but will provide the ample opportunities of accelerated depreciation in case of need. The necessity of further improvement of the regulatory framework for the assessment of production costs of industrial enterprises in the context of the range has been emphasized .
