Some Clinical and Epidemiological Aspects of Rotavirus Infection at the Present Stage

Abstract

The clinical and epidemiological aspects of rotavirus infection in children in Donetsk region at present stage were studied. It is found that among patients with acute intestinal infections and acute respiratory viral infections positive results of screening for rotaviruses were 39.7 and 13.0 %, indicating the general circulation and spread of rotavirus infection.
