СОСТОЯНИЕ КОГНИТИВНОЙ ФУНКЦИИ ДО ОПЕРАТИВНОГО ВМЕШАТЕЛЬСТВА У ПАЦИЕНТОВ, КОТОРЫМ ПРОВОДИТСЯ ОБЩАЯ АНЕСТЕЗИЯ

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to assess the state of the cognitive function before the operation with the calculation of the total cognitive deficit in patients with acute surgical pathology. A study of the cognitive sphere in patients of young, middle, elderly and senile age with acute surgical pathology before the operation was carried out. The state of the cognitive function was examined before the operative intervention no later than a day. Dynamics of changes in the state of cognitive function in patients before surgery using general anesthesia were studied in 256 patients. The results of our study indicate the presence of cognitive changes already before the operation. The dynamics of cognitive changes has a different structure and depends on the age of the patients. The main quantitative criterion is to choose the calculation of the indicator of the general cognitive deficit. The results indicate the need for correction of cognitive impairment already from the preoperative period. Since surgical intervention and general anesthesia may impair cognitive function, which may impair the quality of life of patients.
