Abstract
the article discusses the current state of standardization in oil and gas complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The basic problems and prospects of development of system standardization. It is concluded that the establishment of an adequate system of standardization of oil and gas complex in the country has all the necessary prerequisites.
