Space vector pulse width modulation for high speed induction motor implemented in Nios II softcore processor
Journal Title: Power Electronics and Drives - Year 2018, Vol 2018, Issue 1
Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to present the idea of space vector pulse width modulation and implementation in Nios II softcore processor. SVPWM module was described in both a classical method in HDL as independent structure and as an additional component to softcore processor. The available methods were compared and the experiment was carried out in laboratory to test SVPWM on high speed induction motor in laboratory.

Finite set model predictive speed control of induction motor with long horizon
Background: The paper presents predictive speed control of induction motor. Material and methods: The structure with finite control set and long prediction horizon was used. The control process is divided into two parts:...
Hybrid MPPT algorithm for PV systems under partially shaded conditions using a stochastic evolutionary search and a deterministic hill climbing
This paper proposes a hybrid maximum power point tracking method for the photovoltaic system using a stochastic evolutionary search and a deterministic hill climbing algorithm. The proposed approach employs the particle...
DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM FOR INDUCTION MOTOR STATOR WINDING FAULTS BASED ON AXIAL FLUX
The article presents the results of research on the use of an axial flux in the diagnostics of induction motor stator winding fed by a frequency converter. Voltage signal waveforms proportional to the axial flux were reg...
A NOVEL CONVERTER FOR VOLTAGE BALANCE IN A SERIES CONNECTED CAPACITORS AND BATTERIES.
This paper presents a novel concept and research results of a circuit for voltage balance of three series-connected capacitors or batteries. The problem is associated with control of voltage sharing on series capacitor,...
A MULTILEVEL SWITCHED CAPACITOR DC-DC CONVERTER. AN ANALYSIS OF RESONANT OPERATION CONDITIONS.
Background: This paper presents the research results of a multilevel switched capacitor DC-DC converter (MLSCC). The converter, for power electronic applications, can operate in ZCS mode by utilizing resonant circuits fo...
