Spatial distribution and influencing factors of rural tertiary industry in Huixian City

Abstract
[Objective] The study was conducted to explore the spatial distribution characteristics of rural tertiary industry in counties and its spatial relationship with the influencing factors. [Method] Using kernel density analysis, bivariate spatial autocorrelation analysis and geographic detector, the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of POI (Point of Interest) of the tertiary industry in Huixian City were studied from multi-scale perspectives. [Result] (1) High density areas of the tertiary industry in Huixian city are mainly located in Chengguan Street and the surrounding towns, and low density areas are located in the southwest and north of the study area. (2) The tertiary industry as a whole has a positive spatial correlation with population density, while the tertiary industry as a whole has a negative spatial correlation with slope, topographic relief, road distance and river distance. (3) The spatial identification of various types of tertiary industry and topographic factors is manifested as low-low aggregation in southeast and low-high aggregation in northwest; in respect of the distance from road and river, the spatial identification is mainly showed as low-high aggregation and low-low aggregation; in respect of the population density, it is showed as low-low aggregation and high-high aggregation, among which the distribution sector cluster area and diffusion scale are significantly smaller than other types, and the high-high aggregation area of living production and topographic factors demonstrate a more obvious aggregation phenomenon. (4) At the scale of 0.5 km × 0.5 km, the distribution of existing industries is affected by population density and river distance, while at the scale of 1.0 km × 1.0 km and 1.5 km × 1.5 km, population density and road distance have the strongest driving force on industry distribution. [Conclusion] The stable development of the tertiary industry should be maintained in the southern plain area, the development of the tertiary industry in the northern regions such as Bobi Town, Shangbali Town, Huangshui Township, and Shayao Township should be strengthened, and the unique natural advantages of Huixian City should be taken to adopt the development of industrial transformation and integration strategies to promote the integrated development of the ecological environment and the tertiary industry; at the same time, the construction of the traffic road network, industrial collaboration, tourism collaboration, and traffic connections should be strengthened.
