SPECIFIC ASPECTS OF SUPPORTING A PUBLIC PROSECUTION IN COURT BY THE PROSECUTOR

Abstract
The article discusses the support of public prosecution by the prosecutor in court as a function of the prosecutor’s office. The concepts of “government prosecution” and “public prosecution” are compared. Attention is focused on the need for a unified wording of the name of this function of the prosecutor’s office in various legal acts. The process of prosecutor’s preparing to support a public prosecution in court is analyzed, directions for its improvement are proposed.
