Społeczny i estetyczny aspekt działań artystycznych w przestrzeni publicznej w Polsce i Europie Zachodniej Analiza wybranych przykładów

Abstract
This paper attempts to describe the reception of artistic activities in a public space, their social determinants, and their role in shaping the aesthetic expression of space, mainly urban. The paper presents selected examples of art projects (i.e. Joanna Rajkowska’s project Dotleniacz) and examples of cultural policy/strategies have been led by a local authority as a collaboration with artists, to create a larger projects/art review (Sculpture Park on Bródno, Skulpture Projekte). Compared examples from Poland and Western Europe are aimed at identifying factors, that determine the nature of the artistic activity, and their close link with a historical and economic conditions.
