СПОРТИВНЕ ЖИТТЯ ПЕРЕМІЩЕНИХ УКРАЇНЦІВ У ПОВОЄННІЙ ЗАХІДНІЙ НІМЕЧЧИНІ

Abstract
Досліджується українське спортивне життя у повоєнній Німеччині. Визначено напрями діяльності Ради фізичної культури. З’ясовано особливості становлення та функціонування футболу, волейболу, баскетболу, настільного тенісу, шахів, легкої та важкої атлетики, альпінізму, плавання, хокею, лижного спорту. Active development of the Ukrainian displaced sporting life of postwar Germany came in 1946 – 1948's, аfter which it sank due to the reemigration of a large Ukrainian community. Features of formation and functioning of various sports were conditioned socio-economic factors. Felt lack of experienced coaches, teams had no permanent staff, despite the best efforts of the management of physical culture and sports associations and members of sports among the displaced people have had the priority. In addition, significantly complicated the development of sports economic crisis. Athletes were unable to eat well, not enough money to purchase sports equipment and form teams lacked playgrounds, swimming pools and own transport. Despite all Ukrainian sportsmen adequately represented Ukraine at numerous competitions, including international ones. The greatest success was achieved in football, tennis, Greco-Roman wrestling and chess. It should be emphasized that athletes and fans identified with Ukrainian ethnos. This is proved by the names of Ukrainian sports associations, based on clearly Ukrainian place names and hydronyms, Shape blue and yellow national flag and the anthem used during the Ukrainian wins. Among the activities of the physical training should include coordinating the activities of Ukrainian sports associations, organizing educational institution to prepare teachers of physical education, provision of professional terminological committee, implementation holiday Day of Physical Culture.
