Spotkanie z człowiekiem

Abstract
W pracy onkologa szczególnie często mamy do czynienia z problemami zmuszającymi nas do trudnych wyborów i podejmowania decyzji, które mają nie tylko wymiar kliniczny, ale może przede wszystkim etyczny. Niestety, zbyt mało miejsca w dostępnej literaturze medycznej poświęcono dylematom, z jakimi spotyka się w swojej pracy lekarz onkolog. Chcielibyśmy zachęcić Państwa do dzielenia się swoimi wątpliwościami i prezentowania w „OncoReview” opisów sytuacji, które były dla Państwa trudne. Na przykładzie pacjentki leczonej w naszym szpitalu przedstawiamy rozterki, które zrodziły się podczas naszych wzajemnych kontaktów i stały się inspiracją do dalszych rozważań. Omawiamy takie zagadnienia jak stosunek lekarza do pacjenta umierającego, problem ograniczania procedur medycznych,relacje pacjent–lekarz.
