СРАВНИТЕЛЬНАЯ ОЦЕНКА ЭФФЕКТИВНОСТИ СТАРТОВОЙ ЭМПИРИЧЕСКОЙ АНТИБИОТИКОТЕРАПИИ У ДЕТЕЙ С ТЯЖЕЛОЙ ПНЕВМОНИЕЙ

Abstract
Materials and methods. The study is retrospective. 221 children's history was analyzed. Results. The list of actually used antibacterial drugs did not differ significantly from the list of drugs prescribed by clinical recommendations. Monotherapy was received 75.6 % of children, combined one was taken by 24.4 %. The main drug of choice was ceftriaxone, 66.0% of children received the drug as monotherapy, 24.4 % received it in combination with other antibiotics. 30.0 % of children of the first year took combined antibiotic therapy - ceftriaxone with azithromycin. Amoxicillin / clavulanate was prescribed for children older than 1 year (9.6 %). The indicator of clinical effectiveness of starting antibiotic therapy was 74.7 % (ceftriaxone monotherapy - 67.8 %, amoxicillin / clavulanate - 76.3 %). The lowest rate of clinical efficacy of ceftriaxone was found in children of the first year. The high clinical efficacy (100 %) of the initial use of a combination of ceftriaxone and azithromycin in all children, regardless of age, has been identified. Conclusions. The results of the conducted studies justify the appropriateness of reviewing the starting empirical therapy of severe community-acquired pneumonia in children under 5 years.
