Abstract
The article focuses on a medieval door knocker in the shape of a griffin’s head with a representation of the Tree of Jesse in a frame, made before the year 1344 in the Hans Apengeter’s workshop, funded by Barnim III probably for the St Mary’s church in Szczecin.
