Stability margin of optimization system of rotary rocket motion
Journal Title: Технічна механіка, Техническая механика, Technical Mechanics - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 4
Abstract
The research purpose is to make a quantitative assessment of the stability margin on the planes of characteristic polynomial roots, the two coefficients of the control law and amplitude-phase-frequency characteristic of the open-loop system using the numerical-analytical method. A control object is a rotary motion of a rocket as a rigid body in the plane considering inertia of autostabilizer but without a disturbed motion of the center of mass. The result of the research involves the seven assessments of the stability margin due to the coefficients of the motion equations and the control law. The research novelty consists in the fact that the control law includes summands proportional to all accountable state variables, in particular to angle and an angular velocity of the steering gear. Practical value of the results resides in the fact that the design takes in account the alternative quantitative assessments of the stability margin that is one of the basic requirements for the stabilization system.

Development of a model system for controlling the jet grinding plant operation
Because of the increasing demand for fine-dispersed products in many industries, on the hand, and the high energy intensity of the grinding process, on the other hand, the problem of fine grinder productivity improvement...
Simulation of interactions between rarified plasma flow and faired charged conducting cylinder near conducting surface
The technique of the 2D numerical simulation of interactions between a rarified plasma and the charged body near the conducting surface is proposed. The technique is based on the solution of the Vlasov–Poisson equations...
Synthesis of observer of extended state vector considering requirements for closed loop of control given in frequency domain
To consider a closed loop of a combined control system, a procedure for the synthesis of an extended state observer is proposed. Requirements for the specified quality and the stability of the closed loop of the control...
On the selection of kinetic model for hydrogen burning in numerical simulation of supersonic non-equilibrium flow
The non-equilibrium efflux of a supersonic air- hydrogen jet in a supersonic cocurrent flow through ax-isymmetrical variable-area channel is simulated using a march algorithm in the framework of stationary viscous-layer...
Estimation of dynamic loads on a reference train with a passive safety system in its collisions with an identical train and a freight car
New high-speed passenger cars for 1520 mm gage railways must be designed taking into account passive safety systems (PSSs) for collision protection. A PSS includes energy absorbing devices (EADs), which protect the passe...
