Abstract
У статті відображені результати теоретичного і практичного огляду поняття «планування» у розрізі діяльності підприємств металургійної галузі. Сутність теми розкрита через фокусування уваги на одному з його головних видів – стратегічному плануванні. Значущість досліджуваної тематик, викликана гострою необхідністю застосування сучасних інструментів до розробки стратегії для вітчизняних металургійних організацій, які працюють в умовах посилення світових глобалізаційних процесів та активного розвитку конкурентного середовища.
