STAINLESS STEEL BRIDGES
Journal Title: Structure and Environment - Year 2016, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper concerns problems of application of stainless steel as construction material in bridges. The characteristics and properties of stainless steel are discussed, taking into consideration its possibilities for using in bridge engineering. As an example, duplex Uranus 35N stainless steel, which is suitable for use in bridges, is presented. Some examples of bridges, which main structure is made of stainless steel are also shown
