STATE AGENCIES EXERCISING CONTROL OVER THE ACTIVITIES OF POLITICAL PARTIES IN UKRAINE AND IN THE EU MEMBER COUNTRIES: A COMPARATIVE STUDY

Abstract
The research paper explores the issues dealing with the constitutional and legal regulation of the system of state agencies that exercise control over the activities of political parties. It examines the laws and regulations of Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia and some other EU member countries that define the competence of state agencies concerning the exercise of control over the activities of political parties. It also defines the main types of state agencies that exert control over the activities of political parties.
