Static Model And Analysis of Micro Gas Turbine Using Autodesk Inventor And Autodesk Nastran Software
Journal Title: IOSR Journal of Mechanical and Civil Engineering (IOSR-JMCE) - Year 2018, Vol 15, Issue 4
Abstract
In this project development of Micro gas turbine with three different materials are tested and designed using Autodesk inventor and Autodesk nestron software. Generally micro gas turbine is a size so they are compactable and easy maintains compared to large turbines. in this project three different materials like Aluminium and Stainless steel and Tiatanium are used for turbine blade .the solid model is created using Auto desk inventor software and analysis is is done by using Autodesk nestron Software. the micro gas turbine are few rotating parts so the frictional losses and pollution is less compared to other power generating elements. the micro gas turbine are quicker to respond to output power requirements and also more efficient than other machine elements. Micro turbine being small in size as compared to large turbine, such that less weight which reflects on pressure ratio, low cost and easy maintenance. K

Simulation of Corrosion of Rebar in Concrete by Impressed Current Technique
Marine structures are adversely affected by corrosion of rebars. In order to assess the structural health, prediction of the amount of mass loss of rebars is important. In this context, an experimental investigation was...
Productivity Improvement in Bus Body Manufacturing Using Value Stream Mapping and Line Balancing Technique
Bus body manufacturing play a key role in automotive manufacturing, as vehicle manufacturers often sub contract such enterprise to complete bus manufacturing process. In a fiercely competitive global environment, the bus...
Effect of Part Selection Decision on the Performance of Additive Manufacturing
In this paper input data has been collected from the real existing system and proposed AMS simulation models are developed using C programming. The flow of job through the system managed with multi-level scheduling rules...
Modelling Confined Hydrocarbon Gas Explosions Part I: Algorithm Development
Unexpected releases of combustible vapors/gases can lead to explosions, which threaten the integrity of equipment and structures. Multiple explosions can destroy plants, jeopardize lives, and inflict large economic losse...
A Review-Electrical Discharge Machining
Electrical discharge machining (EDM) is one of the earliest non-traditional machining processes. EDM process is based on thermoelectric energy between the work piece and an electrode. Amongst the various machining proces...
