Abstract
The paper considers statistical approaches to the analysis of credit activity; studies the structure of the loan portfolio; analyses the interrelations between the quality of the loan portfolio and the main economic indicators; reveals and estimates the tendency of development of Ukrainian commercial banks’ credit activity; develops a short-term forecast.
