STATUS AND TOOLS OF THE UN IN RESOLVING CONFLICTS IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

Abstract
The aim of the article is to analyse UN status and tools in solving conflicts in the international relations at present. There are characterized individual bodies of the UN and their tools in solving conflicts in the international relations and also the legal status of the UN in solving conflicts. In the final part peace missions under the UN such as preventive diplomacy, peace-making, peace keeping, peace building and peace enforcement are described.
