Steel silo design using Indian code

Abstract
The Janssen`s and Airy`s theories, and the design methods of steel silo in India are introduced. The design principle, parameters and the various silo forms are presented. Finally, the subjects for further study are proposed. It can serve as a reference for similar designs in China.
