Abstract
The article deals with the language-stylistic features of chants as an original genre of Ukrainian lingual culture that are represented in Stepan Rudanskiy’s creative activity who managed to model Ukrainian humour based on the actualization of a system of language-stylistic means, verbalization of the Ukrainians mentality, their cordocentricity, laughing culture, etc. The poet can be easily considered the master of the development of the Ukrainian language stylistics.
