Stilusy ze Stargardu źródłem znajomości pisma w średniowiecznym mieście
Journal Title: Materiały Zachodniopomorskie - Year 2013, Vol 0, Issue
Abstract
The paper deals with medieval writing instruments – styluses – found during archaeological excavations in Stargard. The artefacts were described and classified according to their characteristics and properties. An attempt to find corresponding items from Poland and other countries was undertaken. The paper presents arguments that may indicate the impact of these artefacts on the possibilities of recognising the literacy history of a medieval town.
