Stochastic nonlinear Schrödinger equation and its laser induced optimal feedback control
Journal Title: Discussiones Mathematicae Differential Inclusions Control and Optimization - Year 2017, Vol 37, Issue 2
Abstract
In this paper we consider a class of nonlinear stochastic Schrödinger equations and their optimal control through laser induced electro-magnetic field. These equations arise in the field of optics. We prove existence and uniqueness of mild solutions. We consider optimal control problems where the control is given by operator valued functions arising from the electric potential induced by the interaction of laser beam with the target material. We prove existence of optimal controls and present necessary conditions of optimality. Further, we also present some fundamental results on compactness (tightness) of the attainable set of regular Borel probability measures induced by the solutions of the stochastic system corresponding to the set of admissible controls. Using these results we prove existence of optimal controls for problems involving objective functionals defined on the space of Borel measures. Also we present the corresponding necessary conditions of optimality.

Upper and Lower Solutions Method for Partial Hadamard Fractional Integral Equations and Inclusions
In this paper we use the upper and lower solutions method combined with Schauder's fixed point theorem and a fixed point theorem for condensing multivalued maps due to Martelli to investigate the existence of solutions f...
Averaging results for semilinear functional differential equations with infinite delay in a Banach space: a case of non uniqueness of solutions
We aim in this paper to establish averaging results in a case of non uniqueness of the mild solutions for semilinear functional differential equations in a Banach space with infinite delay on an abstract phase space and...

Weakly precompact operators on Cb(X,E) with the strict topology
Let X be a completely regular Hausdorff space, E and F be Banach spaces. Let Cb(X,E) be the space of all E-valued bounded continuous functions on X, equipped with the strict topology β. We study weakly precompact operato...
Controllability for some Partial Functional Integrodifferential Equations with Nonlocal Conditions in Banach Spaces
This work concerns the study of the controllability of some partial functional integrodifferential equation with nonlocal initial conditions in Banach spaces. It gives sufficient conditions that ensure the controllabilit...
