Store Data from Experiments with Microorganisms Used in Food Industry
Journal Title: International Journal of Intelligent Systems and Applications in Engineering - Year 2013, Vol 1, Issue 3
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present results from collaboration of computer engineers and experimenters in microbiology working with molecular-genetic methods. The experimenters in microbiological laboratory at the University of Food Technologies use ARDRA (Amplified Ribosomal DNA Restriction Analysis) analyses and DNA sequencing processed with BLAST (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool) algorithm to identify some microorganisms. Their results have been accumulated in designed database. This will improve the effectiveness and productivity of the molecular-genetic analyses in department of microbiology.

Dependability Assessment of the Railway Signalling Systems Based on the Stochastic Petri Nets Analysis
In this article, we propose a methodology to evaluate the performances of the railway signalling systems in terms of the availability. Firstly, level crossings in Morocco are presented. Secondly, a railway signalling sys...
Developing a Fuzzy Logic Decision Support System for Strategic Planning in Industrial Organizations
Internal – External (IE), Strategic Position and Action Evaluation (SPACE), Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Grand Strategy matrices are important tools in generating and evaluating alternative output strategies which...
PID Parameters Prediction Using Neural Network for A Linear Quarter Car Suspension Control
Providing control for suspension systems in vehicles is an enhancing factor for comfort and safety. With the improvement of control conditions, it is possible to design a cost-efficient controller which will maintain opt...
Classification of Neurodegenerative Diseases using Machine Learning Methods
In this study, neurodegenerative diseases (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Huntington’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease) were diagnosed and classified using force signals. In the classification, five machine learning al...
Optimal Energy Management System for PV/Wind/Diesel-Battery Power Systems for Rural Health Clinic
Good operation of a hybrid system can be achieved only by a suitable control of the interaction in the operation of the different devices. This paper proposed a supervisory control system that will be used to control and...
