Strategia Bezpieczeństwa Narodowego USA (National Security Strategy of the United States of America) z 26 Maja 2010

Abstract
The article analyzes the main points of the National Security Strategy (NSS) of the United States of America from May 2010 and new trends that shape the American vision of their internal and global order and security. It also describes the strategic environment in which those premises should be realized, the role of the USA in shaping a secure international system, the social and political background and the role of the individual factor in creating the "new " American policy. Although the new NSS is deemed a revolutionary turn in American foreign policy, concentrating on a comprehensive approach instead of military power as the most persuasive factor, use of smart power and multilateralism along with the American leadership in creating a better global order, in reality it is not that much different from G. W. Bush's administration's solutions. In the conclusion, the article raises the issue of spreading American values, which is one of the major points of the NSS 2010 enabling the realization of USA's national interest, and reflects on their perception in different cultures.
