Abstract
The implementation of the information systems supporting functionality of transport companies contributes to optimization of processes, organization and elimination of unnecessary actions during management, getting a new look at the realization of the tasks and competitive adventage in the market. The logistics market is a specific market, it is still developing, first of all thanks to clients' requirements. In the article one has presented particular information systems implemented in the bus company „POLONUS”.
