Abstract

D. Gorovyi, K. Gorova. Strategic Directions of Industrial Enterprises Development in Ukraine. With the accession of Ukraine to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and taking into account its desire to integrate into the European Union, the domestic market of Ukraine is no longer the protected territory where Ukrainian enterprises can make a profit in the conditions of the impossibility of exporting their own products and global trends towards the decline of industrial enterprises. Therefore, enterprises of Ukraine need the development of their strategic directions. The urgent issue is the need to increase their own competitiveness by improving the products produced, reducing its cost, introducing new developments into the production, popularizing the products produced by creating loyalty programs, PR events, promotions, sponsorship and patronage activities aimed at developing our own brand. Strategic development in industrial enterprises in Ukraine should focus on three main components. development of the enterprise brand, creation of new, so-called virtual enterprises, as unique subjects of entrepreneurial activity, which receive the main benefit from their activities, possessing mainly property rights or a certain asset, seeking necessary investments in science and new technologies. The lack of investment in science and new technologies most seriously affect the competitiveness of products of industrial enterprises in Ukraine. For example, the products of Ukrainian automakers are characterized by an almost complete lack of use of their own scientific developments in mass production, the trademarks of these enterprises are known only in the domestic market. As a result, Ukrainian producers produce obsolete models of their own design or foreign under license. One way out of this situation is to ensure a quick return of funds for potential investors. Such mechanisms can be based on the creation of intermediate virtual enterprises or by means of technologies for capitalizing investments in science and new technologies.
