Abstract
This article on coping stra-tegies in the face of the stress of relap-se to drug use is based on an analysis carried out on a population of six adoles-cents who are in a situation of substan-ce use. Its stage of change allows in this way to obtain an approximation of those protection factors enhance before a reha-bilitation treatment in the face of this so-cioeconomic phenomenon. In the same way, the adolescent coping scale allows us to know approximations of vulnerabi-lity that can potentiate in adolescents in rehabilitation they can relapse again in their consumption. Objective. Theoretical approach as a starting point for a rehabi-litation model based on adolescents’ co-ping with the stress caused by relapse to drug use. Materials and Methods: The test used is the Adolescent Coping Scale proposed by Frydenberg, E. and Lewis, R. Results. The results obtained show that the adolescents surveyed, who are in rehabilitation, due to drug use, face the problem situation with the guidance and intervention of society. Another result to highlight is the lack or non-coping indica-ted by adolescents, a situation that leads them to a state of vulnerability, where emphasis should be place on therapeu-tic intervention. Conclusion: A theoreti-cal approach to coping by adolescents in the face of a phenomenological situation would allow a personalized intervention model from the empowerment of protec-tive factors and reduction of vulnerability
