STRATEGY FOR INCREASING COMPETITIVENESS OF ENTERPRISES IN THE FISHING INDUSTRY

Abstract

Purpose. The aim of the article is to substantiate conceptual foundations for ensuring the competitiveness of the fishing industry and develop recommendations of methodological and practical guidance on this basis to achieve sustainable competitive position of fishery enterprises. Methodology of research. The methodological basis is a set of principles, general and specific methods and techniques of research. Different methods and methodological approaches were used during the study, including: method of induction and deduction, and analytical method – in the analysis of external factors affecting the competitiveness of the industry, as well as in forming the scenario approach to evaluating the effectiveness of strategic measures; the method of strategic analysis and logical approach – in substantiating the ways of macro logistics market regulation of fish products on the basis of meeting the demand from different regions of Ukraine and the world market through a single logistics coordination system for wholesale trade of fish products. Findings. The ways fir the development of macro-logistics market regulation of fish products on the basis of meeting the demand from different regions of Ukraine and the world market through a single logistics coordination system for wholesale trade of fish products were proposed. It has been established that represented system should contribute to stimulate of domestic production of fish products and the balance of its exports and imports on the basis of the formation of mutual interest of producers and wholesalers (Ukrainian and foreign) by establishing logistical and oriented relations between them. Originality. The development of new forms of integration and logistical coordination of business processes, adequate to modern conditions, which involve the use of structures that logistically consolidates various separate fishing, fish processing, marketing, transportation and other organizations was proposed. The form of business partnerships will allow to increase the efficiency of interaction between fish industrialists and serving their structures and provide greater competitiveness of fish products on the logistical basis was presented. Practical value. The proposed measures will improve to increase the effectiveness of macro-logical management of fish facilities on a more rational exploitation of aquatic biological resources and better interaction between fish industrialists and serving their structures that provide greater competitiveness of fish products.
