Strength and durability properties of cement mortar replaced by copper slag and green sand as fine aggregate – A Review
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 5
Abstract
The acid attack on cement mortar, the cement mortar is replaced by copper slag and green sand replaced for river sand in equal proportions. The copper slag and green sand replaced by 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% repectively. The specimen were cured for 28 days from the date of demoulding. The rest specimens were stored in acid solutions (HCl, H2SO4, HNO3) after 28 days of initial curing, and stored at laboratory temperature. Compressive strength tests, mass measurements took place for 24 hours.

Design of Multiple Input DC-DC Converters
A new two-input DC-DC converter suitable to draw power from two different dc sources feeding a common dc-bus is presented in this paper. This is a two-switch converter belongs to fifth-order family and performs bucking...
Mathematical Modelling and CFD Simulation of Cavity Formation and its Elimination in Water Jet Pump Using Fluent
when we change inlet pressure the pressure drop is decreased and cavity is reduced or vapor pressure is reduced in efficient manner. Again when we simulate the problem by increasing both inlet and outlet pressure same p...
Study on RC Building with Friction Pendulum Base Isolation System – A Review
Buildings are very important after the natural hazards such as earthquake. Introducing base isolation techniques to improve the performance of buildings. Friction pendulum or Friction bearing is one of the best base iso...
The effect of turning parameters on surface smoothness of D3 cold work steel
This paper studies the effect of turning parameters such as cutting speed, feed rate, load depth, cutting time and tool radius on surface roughness in the process of turning the D3 cold-work steel. To perform this resea...
Review on Overview of Oracle Operators
SQL set operators allows combine results from two or more SELECT statements. At first sight this looks similar to SQL joins although there is big difference. SQL joins tends to combine columns i.e. with each additionall...
