Stres u rodziców dzieci hospitalizowanych w Oddziale Intensywnej Terapii Noworodka - doniesienie wstępne

Abstract
Wstęp. Stres jest poważnym problemem wśród rodziców noworodków hospitalizowanych w Oddziale Intensywnej Terapii. Materiał i metoda. Badanie miało charakter jakościowy. Zastosowano w nim szereg narzędzi badawczych: Skalę Odczuwanego Stresu PSS-10, Wielowymiarowy Kwestionariusz do Pomiaru Radzenia Sobie ze Stresem COPE, Skalę Wpływu Zdarzeń IES R, Parental Stressor Scale: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (PSS: NICU) oraz Nurse Parent Support Tool (NPTS) oraz autorskie kwestionariusze zawierające dane o rodzicach dzieci hospitalizowanych w Oddziale Intensywnej Terapii Noworodka (OITN) i dane dotyczące hospitalizowanych noworodków. W badaniu udział wzięło sześcioro rodziców dzieci hospitalizowanych w OITN Dziecięcego Szpitala Klinicznego w Lublinie. Wszystkie noworodki urodziły się przedwcześnie. Wyniki badań. U wszystkich rodziców stwierdzono wysoki poziom stresu. Najczęściej wykorzystywanymi strategiami radzenia sobie ze stresem były: Zwrot ku Religii, Aktywne Radzenie Sobie oraz Planowanie i Poszukiwanie Wsparcia Instytucjonalnego. Największy poziom stresu rodziców dzieci hospitalizowanych w OITN był związany z wyglądem dziecka i stosowanymi procedurami leczniczym. Lekarze, podobnie jak pielęgniarki, najczęściej udzielali rodzicom wsparcia instrumentalnego, a najrzadziej – wsparcia emocjonalnego i wartościującego. Zaburzenie po stresie urazowym stwierdzono u dwojga rodziców.
